Patrol Officer - 2nd Shift

 

 

Columbus College of Art & Design is currently seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of Patrol Officer experience.

 

The position available is on our 2nd shift, working 4pm to 12am (the days off could vary to ensure adequate patrol coverage).  The position comes with benefits which includes medical & dental insurances, and retirement.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Physically secure all facilities and equipment within his/her responsibility.
  • Make scheduled patrols through campus buildings.
  • Maintain the safety of personnel and students while on campus.
  • Complete, maintain and follow up on incident reports.
  • Provide escort service on campus when necessary to faculty, staff and students.
  • Maintain visibility on campus.
  • Take control of critical situations which may require physical intervention.

 

To be considered for this position; candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Patrol experience, a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED and have basic computer skills.
