Marketing Assistant

Columbus College of Art & Design is hiring a Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant will work within the Marketing and Communications department and report to the Marketing Project Manager. They will oversee all website updates and other marketing related tasks for the department.  

Specific duties include:

• Manage all website updates for all of CCAD's sites
• Spearhead the content migration process from the legacy website to the new website
• Manage inputting invoices and expenses into the departmental budget system.
• Conduct research as necessary
• Organize award submissions for the Marketing & Communications department and Student Agency
• Manage the "share your story" system and events
• Create and manage Facebook events
• Create external calendar listings for all events
• Conduct special projects as assigned by the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications
• Help to organize and source posts for social media
• Manage college-wide website content system
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Advertising and Graphic Design
• Experience with Adobe products, including Photoshop and InDesign
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of the Windows environment, Outlook is a plus
• Ability to work with different digital programs
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail, within stated deadlines
• Ability to adapt to constant change and periods of fast-paced, high-intensity work situations
• Knowledge of resizing images for web, social media, and for designers is a plus
• Ability to work independently
