Adjunct Instructor Production Design, Film & Video

The Columbus College of Art & Design invites applicants for an adjunct instructor in the Film & Video program. The ideal candidate is an innovative professional who leverages industry trends and technologies to deliver relevant classroom experiences. Candidates must be proficient in a variety of film and video industry skills and have the ability to teach Production Design.

CCAD is looking for a dynamic and engaged person for this program with significant professional film and video experience and networks in the independent film industry, who is energized by the challenge and promise of this opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with the program chair and faculty from other programs specifically Photo and Animation in further strengthening the vision and personality of the Film & Video program. CCAD seeks a candidate who can collaboratively engage with faculty and mentor students. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills; show initiative, dependability, empathy and reliability. In addition, the candidate will possess the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

In Practice: We seek a colleague who is actively engaged in the contemporary practice of production design through a proven track record of professional engagement. Position: Adjunct Instructor, part-time

Qualifications: Terminal degree in Film & Video or related field, preferably complimented by professional experience and a minimum of three years of college level teaching experience preferred.
