Adjunct Instructor, Museum and Gallery Curatorial Practices

The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor in our History of Art & Visual Culture Department to teach Museum and Gallery Curatorial Practices in the FALL 2023 Semester.

Course Details: This course examines important exhibitions of the past 10 years and the ways in which museums/galleries have presented these ideas through cogent and sound exhibitions practices that consider the physical, ideological, conceptual, and aesthetic relationships that are established among the works in a successful gallery or museum show. Project work includes a class-organized solo or group exhibition in a campus gallery. This is an in person class schedule Mondays 3:30-6:15.


Position: Adjunct Instructor, part-time

Qualifications: A Masters degree in art or design history is required and previous teaching experience preferred.
