Adjunct Instructor, Acting for Animators

The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor for our Animation Department to teach Acting for Animators, an acting class that focuses on how the lessons of acting can heighten the performance of animation. This class introduces students to Improv and Scripted Acting through acting exercises and the application of those skills into their animations. The focus of the instructor is on teaching acting. No prior animation production experience is required. However, the instructor should feel comfortable with analyzing the acting in a variety of animated content. This course is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30pm to 6:15pm.

Position: Adjunct Instructor, part-time

Qualifications: An MFA in Acting and previous teaching experience preferred.
