The Columbus College of Art & Design [CCAD] is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor for our Business, Math & Entrepreneurship Department to teach Math and Quantitative Literacy beginning in the SPRING 2020 semester.

 

Course Details:

 

Math and Quantitative Literacy: The course explores and reviews basic mathematical skill sets and knowledge base needed to function in many facets of today's society as well as applications in art and design. Topics covered will include: units and measurement; data analysis, graphical representation and interpretation; review fundamentals of algebra and the use of formulas; introduction to probability and statistics; modeling, applications to personal finance; and a focus on geometric and trigonometric applications within art and design.

 

An advanced degree or enrollment in a graduate program in mathematics or related discipline is required. Previous teaching experience preferred. Resumes will be accepted until filled. Please submit a cover letter and resume online.
